Camargo Appoints Drug Development VP

Steven A. Castillo has been appointed vice president of drug development at Camargo Pharmaceutical Services, and joins the company’s leadership team. Mr. Castillo has more than 25 years of research and global drug development experience, and brings skills to provide guidance through the complex drug development and approval pathway, along with a history of successful interactions with the FDA.
 
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Castillo was a biotechnology consultant. His program management expertise includes clinical operations, clinical pharmacology, medical affairs, biostatistics, pharmacovigilance, legal, finance, business development and executive management. Mr. Castillo also brings broad therapeutic expertise including infectious disease, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology and biologics, and he also worked on combination products delivered through medical devices.
